WICHITA — For the third consecutive month, the Lord's Diner in downtown Wichita set a record for most people served in a single day.
Officials with the Catholic Diocese of Wichita said today that 682 diners were served on Tuesday.
On June 29, the Lord's Diner served 655 guests, which was its highest daily total since it opened in February 2002. That lasted less than a month. On July 28, it served 675 people.
The Lord's Diner, located at the corner of Broadway and Central, serves dinner every night from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to anyone who shows up.
