Labor Day weekend will be warm, sunny and breezy in the Wichita metropolitan area, forecasters say.
Highs today may only touch 80 under sunny skies, with northerly winds blowing steadily in the teens and gusting to more than 20 miles an hour. Saturday will reach the mid-80s, with south winds gusting past 25 miles an hour, forecasters say.
Sunday and Monday should see temperatures in the 90s, with winds topping out at more than 30 miles an hour.
Lows will be in the low 50s tonight and the 60s the rest of the holiday weekend.
