WICHITA — The Wichita River Festival has rescheduled a few events that were postponed because of weather.
The hot air balloon glow that was postponed because of high winds on Sunday will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday on the Hyatt Lawn. A children's balloon release will happen at 7 p.m., and the first 500 children will receive a free balloon to release.
Also, the "Family Reunion" play that was postponed because of weather on Monday will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Mary Jane Teall Theater in Century II.
Also, the Gospelfest that was postponed on Monday now will take place from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Century II's Convention Hall.
