Offensive lineman Ryan Lilja, who played in high school at Shawnee Mission Northwest and in college at Kansas State, is coming home.
Lilja agreed to terms today on a three-year contract with the Chiefs.
It's not only a great football move for the Chiefs, who need Lilja's help on their offensive line. But he also gives the Chiefs a locker room presence otherwise in short supply. He played on two Super Bowl teams with the Colts, is a tireless worker and, at 28, should have several good seasons left in him.
