Jury in Etheredge trial to resume deliberations Wednesday

The jury in the securities fraud trial of Thomas Etheredge concluded its first day of deliberations today without reaching a verdict.
The jury deliberated for nearly eight hours, including through lunch.
About an hour of that time was spent this afternoon hearing the testimony of one of the investors, Frankie Shellhammer Jones, read to the jurors by a court reporter.
The jurors wanted to hear Jones' entire testimony, as well as Etheredge's testimony about Jones. She gave $50,000 to Etheredge for his failed Wild West World theme park.
Although the jurors met briefly together shortly before Monday's evening recess, they didn't actually begin deliberating until this morning.
