WICHITA — Police provided new details today about a stabbing that left a 48-year-old man with serious wounds, saying it came after an argument between him and his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend.
An update on the man's condition wasn't available today, but police expected the man to survive.
The stabbing occurred Thursday afternoon at an apartment at 1726 E. Waterman, a police report said.
The 35-year-old woman's current boyfriend said he was stabbed three times, in the back and chest, with a steak knife, police said.
The 52-year-old ex-boyfriend has been booked into jail on suspicion of aggravated battery.
