WICHITA — Police are asking for help locating a woman suspected of robbing the Fidelity Bank branch at 3532 E. Harry shortly after 9 a.m. today.
Police said the woman came into the bank at 9:04 a.m. and demanded tellers fill a bag with money. The suspect showed the tellers a small silver handgun.
After leaving the bank, she was last seen headed south on Roosevelt in a black mid-size Ford SUV.
The suspect is a black woman in her 50s, about 5 feet 3 and weighing more than 200 pounds. She was wearing a maroon coat, black stocking cap, black sunglasses, dark pants and tennis shoes.

A dye pack exploded in the Spangles parking lot near the bank, authorities said, marking both the suspect and the money.
