The Sedgwick County Zoo is closed today because of a water line break, and will reopen Sunday with limited services and activities.
Zoo officials said the break did not affect the water supply for animals, but disrupted service to rest rooms, water fountains and food service areas.
Bottled beverages and snacks will be available on Sunday, and portable hand washing stations and rest rooms will be used until water service is restored.
The zoo said the Nganda Village and the Downing Gorilla Forest will be closed Sunday, and the tram will not be running.
Never miss a local story.
