WICHITA — United Methodist Open Door, which provides basic services to those in need, will hold its 19th annual Turkey Drive on Friday.
People are being asked to donate turkeys and the trimmings — or provide cash donations — to feed needy families.
The drive, which is being held in collaboration with B98-FM, will run from 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
Donations may be dropped off at B98-FM studios, 9323 E. 37th St. North; the USD 259 administrative building at Second and Water; Star Lumber at Maple and West Street; area McDonald's locations (turkeys only); Cricket Communications at 31st Street South and Seneca; or Dillons at 21st and Maize Road or Rock Road and Madison in Derby.
