A 49-year-old man needed 150 stitches to his face early today after a man and woman attacked him in the 400 block of Knickerbocker Place.
The victim’s face was cut from his ear to his mouth.
The victim was visiting a friend and was on the front porch about 2:40 a.m. when a black sport-utility vehicle pulled up and parked in a spot reserved for residents. A man and woman got out of the vehicle and walked up to the porch, where the victim told them they could not park there. The woman slapped him in the face and the man punched him.
As the suspects fled, the victim realized his face had been cut. Police said the wound was about 8 inches long and was “severe and deep.”
Police were still looking for the suspects. The victim’s friend said he saw the attack and believed the suspect may have had a razor in his hand when he hit his friend.
The victim was released from the hospital.
