A man was seriously injured Tuesday night in Kansas City after a possible drive-by shooting.
The shooter, or shooters, shot multiple times into a house in the 7000 block of E. 111 Terrace, striking a man in his teens or early twenties while he was standing in his bedroom, according to Sgt. Eric Stucker of the Kansas City Police Department. Dispatchers said that the shooting victim was struck in the neck.
Neighbors heard the screeching sounds of a car’s tires, they told police.
Two of the victim’s family members were in the house at the time of the shooting, including his mother, but none were injured.
Stucker said he expects the victim to survive.
