WICHITA — A young mother was tied up and robbed at her house in north Wichita Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The 22-year-old woman answered a knock on her door shortly before 2 p.m. at her house in the 1500 block of North Floberta.
Two men pushed their way inside, bound her hands with duct tape, put a pillowcase over her head and tied it with a phone cord, and then stole property from the house, police said.
The victim's 3-month-old daughter, who was on a bed in an adjacent bedroom, was not harmed during the robbery. The men then left the area.
The woman said one suspect was a black man who is about 5-feet-7 and 150 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask, black coat and khaki or white pants.
No description was offered for the second suspect.
