Remember all those closures that were supposed to happen on Interstate 35 last week near Olathe, but didn’t because of bad weather?
They’ve been rescheduled, starting tonight at 10 when northbound I-35 will be closed from U.S. 56 in Gardner to U.S. 169 in Olathe so work can move ahead on the new Lone Elm Road interchange. The highway will reopen at 5 a.m. Friday.
The closure will be repeated from 10 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday and again from 10 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday.
Drivers can get around the closure by going east on 175th Street and north on U.S. 169 back to Olathe.
