WWI Museum highlights century-old war

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The site of the National World War I Museum has weathered a whiplash arc from prominence to decline and back to distinction. With the centenary of the start of World War I being marked this summer, the museum is working to highlight the story of a war that is often overshadowed in U.S. history by other conflicts.
