Halloween Open House today at Skaer clinic

Skaer Veterinary Clinic will hold a Halloween Open House from noon to 2 p.m. today at 404 S. Edgemoor (one block north of Kellogg).

Pets are encouraged to come in costume to have pictures taken and be judged by KSN's Leon Smitherman.

Food and goodies for pets and owners will be available, as well as opportunities for education in subjects such as pet obesity, home dental care, surgeries and common parasites.

SitStay Dog Training offers Quickie Classes

Would you like to have a well-behaved dog in time for the holidays? Enroll your pet in one of the K-9 Quickie Classes offered at SitStay Dog Training at All Paws Pet Center.

The three-week sessions will be held at 5 and 6 p.m. Wednesdays. Session 1 will be Nov. 4, 11 and 18; session 2 will be Dec. 2, 9 and 16.

Classes will be at the All Paws Pet Center at 2110 N. Maize Road.
