Pals Animal Rescue is kicking off summer adoptions with a special event Saturday, June 3, at PetSmart, 3615 N. Rock Road. Foster parents will bring 17 dogs, and as many cats as there is space for, to PetSmart from 1 to 2:30 p.m. for potential adopters to meet.
Available pets include:
▪ JoJo, a 7-pound poodle, is such a little showoff, she decided to sit pretty for her photo. She is doing well on her house-training and she loves to cuddle with her foster parents. She is a small, but mighty girl and would do best as the only dog or only female dog in the home.
▪ Munroe is a big, wonderful Great Pyrenees about 3 years old. He is house-trained and good with most other dogs, but would be best placed as the only male dog in the home. He is true to his breed: loyal and smart. Pyrenees are called gentle protectors. Munroe is one of many large-breed dogs and puppies that will be shown at PetSmart on Saturday.
Never miss a local story.
▪ Sasha is a female Siamese cat, 2 to 3 years old. She is looking for a “Siamese” home, where she can reign as the Diva Cat. She is good with other cats and with dogs. She is not a snuggler, but instead a companion who will let you know when she wants to be held or cuddled.
