Hello! I’m so excited about your interest in me, I can hardly contain myself. I hope that jumping on you and licking your hand will persuade you to take me home with you. I’m quite the energetic type, and I hope you will go on adventures with me from time to time. I hope to get to know you as well when you visit me at KHS.

• Pooh the Goofball, 6-year-old male shepherd mix, 75 pounds

I’m a big dog, but I’m capable of even bigger love. I can’t wait until we are taking walks together, playing ball and socializing with other animals and people. We’ll have a grand time, so are you ready to come to KHS to see me yet?

• Pretzel the Leader of the Band, 3-year-old male cat, domestic medium-hair mix

I had someone tell me once that I was so cute, they could “almost eat me.” Thank goodness they didn’t try. Anyway, my name is Pretzel. I’ve got a great personality, and I’m super easy to get along with. I enjoy lying down for naps, playing with toys and snuggling. Come see me at KHS soon.

• Princess the Sidekick, 3-year-old female cat, domestic medium-hair mix

The princess has arrived! I’m talking about me, of course. I hope that I can arrive at your house, and I’ll make a grand entrance. All jokes aside, I’m just a mellow, lap-loving gal that loves to be by my owner’s side. Basically, I’m the purrfect sidekick for you. I hope you will come to KHS soon so I can serenade you with my sweet purrs.

• Hubert, 3-month-old male kitten, domestic shorthair mix

Meeeow! That’s hello in kitty language. I hope I can say “hello” to you in person when you visit KHS. I promise I’ll be a sweet boy, and persuade you to take me home with you. I’m willing to bet that I’ll look real cute on your camera roll to show all your friends and family.
