Nathan the Goofball, a 3-year-old male American pit bull terrier mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.
Hey there, Nathan here. I’ve got so many plans for us. We can play fetch, roll in the grass and, when I’m all tuckered out, snuggle. Don’t disappoint me, because I’ve built up such good hopes that you will come to KHS and become my best friend.
• Jackson the Busy Bee, 8-year-old male shepherd mix
You know what’s awesome about me? I’m a professional fetch player. I love playing it and will even “speak” and ask you to throw the ball. Pretty impressive, right? I’m also excited about the possibility of you taking me home with you. I would love to have parents to call my own. I hope you visit me at KHS soon.
• Lucy the Secret Admirer, 1-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix
My name is Lucy. I came to KHS as a new mother, so I know what it means to be dedicated and loving. I’m just looking for a home where I can be a cherished member of the family. I promise that if you take me in, I’ll be forever appreciative. Lots of purrs and love are waiting for you here at KHS.
• Cali the Personal Assistant, 7-year-old female Manx mix
Hi, I’m Cali. I was really scared in the shelter, but I’m feeling comfortable at my foster home. I’m a very loving cat, and I like giving hugs and nibbles. I even drool a little bit when I receive love from my owner. I would love a safe, loving, quiet home to call my own. Visit me at my foster home soon so we can get to know each other.
• Pong, 3-month-old male kitten, domestic shorthair mix
Hey there, my name is Pong. You’ve got to be kitten me if you don’t think I’m cute. I think I’m just what you need to liven up your home and heart. I’d be a perfect fit. Think of all the memories we will have together as I grow old with you. I’ll be at KHS waiting for you to stop by.
