Kenny the Goofball, a male boxer mix, 1 year and 5 months old, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

Oh boy, oh boy. Is that a tennis ball? Are we going to play outside? I love to play! Afterward we should go on a walk and then relax and watch a movie. I can’t wait to spend time with you. You should visit with me at KHS today.

Also available:

• Dara the Wallflower, 8-year-old female chow chow mix

Aren’t I the sweetest gal you’ve ever met? I’m getting excited just thinking about all the fun times we’re going to have. The walking, playing and watching TV together. I can’t wait. You should visit with your new pal at KHS today.

•  Harley the Sidekick, 9-month-old male cat, domestic shorthair mix

I’m a happy cat looking to stick by your side. Are you going to the kitchen? I’ll follow you in there. Are you taking a nap? I’ll lie right next to you. I think we’ll really enjoy each other’s company. You should visit with your new sidekick at KHS right away.

• Lana the Personal Assistant, 4-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix

You know what’s great about having a personal assistant? I can clear your busy schedule and pencil you in for a relaxing day of kitty cuddling. Doesn’t that sound like fun? You should set up some time to visit with me at KHS today.

•  Lady Cat the Sidekick, 10-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix

I’m an older cat looking to share my wisdom and bring happiness to your life. We can cuddle up and watch movies, or even play with some cat toys (I really like playing with string). I know we’ll have fun together. You should visit with me at KHS right away.
