Wichita Cat Fancy cat show at Cotillion

About 200 cats representing up to 30 breeds are expected at the Cotillion this weekend as Wichita Cat Fancy presents its winter cat show.

The show, which features cat judging, cat products for sale and cats for adoption, runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 1 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 2 at the Cotillion, 11120 W. Kellogg.

Veterinarian Jenna Hill from Indian Hills Animal Clinic will answer questions about cat health and behavior from 1 to 2 p.m. Feb. 1 at a free “Ask the Vet” booth.

Representatives of Friends of Felines will be available both days to answer questions about management of and care for feral cats.

Cats from Lifeline Animal Placement and Protection and Pals Animal Rescue, including Egyptian Maus and some special black cats, will be available for adoption.

Admission to the cat show is $5, $3 for ages 6 to 12 and 55 and older, or $10 for a family pass that’s good all weekend. For more information, call 316-722-4201 or go to
