Freddy the Life of the Party, a 3-year-old male Brittany mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

I love being around people. I have the most fun when we hang out together. They throw stuffed toys and I fetch them. They rub my belly. They even give me great-tasting treats. You should come to KHS and visit with me today. I want to be hanging out with you.

Also available:

•  Rose the Wallflower, 5-year-old female English Foxhound mix

I can’t wait to go on walks with you. I might be a little shy once I first meet you, but once I get used to you, you won’t leave a room without me following you. Come down to KHS and visit with me today. We can start our fun times right away.

• Gizmo the Sidekick, 9-month-old male cat, domestic medium-hair mix

I might just be the little prince of your house. As such, I will want to be the center of attention. I’ll follow you to the kitchen and wherever you go, just as long as you pet and talk to me. You should come to KHS and visit with me.

•  Sugar the Private Investigator, 2-year-old male cat, domestic shorthair mix

I might be a little shy at first. Once I get to know you, though, I’ll be by your side at all moments. We can watch TV together, play with a string mouse, even cuddle on the couch. That sounds like a great time to me. You should visit with me at KHS.

•  Liam the Hamster, male, age unknown

I’m quite the friendly little guy. I like running around in my cage and my little hamster wheel. My favorite thing, though, is running around the house in a giant hamster ball. Oh, that sounds like a blast. You should visit me at KHS today.
