Lenny the Constant Companion, a 3-year-old male Chihuahua-Italian greyhound mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

I need a home that is full of love, and I would really like a lap. I sure am missing all that snuggle time! I will give you my constant attention and devotion in return.

Also available:

•  Fuze the Goofball, 1-year-old male Labrador retriever mix.

I need a new family; do you need a new best friend? Do you like playing fetch, going for nice walks or runs, spending time chatting about each other’s day? I have a great sense of humor and enjoy making every day a blast.

•  Corey the Life of the Party, 2-year-old male hound-shepherd mix.

I think everything is fun, interesting and meant for play, especially you. Anything you do, I'll want to do, too. Life with me will keep you constantly on your toes, and the fun is guaranteed.

•  Manny the Puppy, 3-month-old male shepherd-husky mix.

I am serious about finding a new home. I will work hard to make you happy and proud of me as your new forever friend. May I have a chance to impress you during our visit?

•  Nautica the Personal Assistant, 2-year-old female tabby cat, tan and black.

I'm looking for a new companion, someone I can help out and make smile every day. I love doing what you're doing. I'll help you type on the computer and keep your lap warm during TV time. Running, hiding, playing with toys and enjoying quiet time are just a few things I like to do. I'm affectionate, playful, and will help you relax after a long day's work.
