Link, a 1-year-old male American pit bull terrier mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.
Hi. I’m Link and I’m a “busy bee” just looking for my queen. Get it? BEE? As you can see, I’ve also got a great sense of humor. I like to keep everyone around me smiling and entertained. I make the shelter staff here laugh by prancing around the play yards with my tongue hanging out. I promise, if you give me a chance, I’ll fill your home with just as much laughter and love. We can play with toys together, take long walks, play fetch outside, and at the end of the day we can curl up on the couch and watch movies. Hurry, you grab your keys and I’ll grab the leash. See you soon.
▪ Clifford, 9-year-old male Chihuahua mix
Never miss a local story.
I’m a laid-back kind of dog. I wouldn’t mind going on a walk every now and then, but I am really content with just hanging around the house. I enjoy the little things in life. Treats are nice, and two meals a day, too. Oh, guess what? I went on a visit to a nursing home for Project Companionship and I was very polite and quiet. I will love sitting with you and giving you lots of kisses. I am an awesome dog ready to find my furrever home.
▪ Olivia, 3-year-old female American pit bull terrier mix
Hey there. Wanna play with me? I’ve just been waiting for someone to play with. You see, everything in life is a game when you’re a goofball like me. I’m positive and I always try to look on the bright side. That’s why I know my forever home is right around the corner. We’ll go on walks, play with toys, and spend tons of time loving on each other. I hope you don’t mind doggy kisses and a wet nose.
▪ Banshee, 8-year-old female cat, domestic longhair
Please give me a new home. I got lost and ended up here at KHS. I really want a second chance at life, love, three meals a day, and maybe a few treats. They would go a long way to make me feel like my old self. I am a happy kitty with some great years to spend enjoying my family. I’ll never forget how to be a devoted pet. Let me prove that to you.
