Flower the Busy Bee, a 6-year-old female German shepherd mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.
I like taking walks and playing with toys. I may even chew a dog bone or two. That’s a dog’s life! What I really like, though, is people love. I want a family of my very own to love and be loyal to for a lifetime. Come visit me and see how this dog still has some new tricks in her. Senior for Seniors Program: Anyone over 65 years old who adopts a dog over 5 years old gets 50 percent off their adoption fee.
• Fuze the Goofball, 1-year-old male Labrador retriever mix
I need a new family; you need a new best friend. I like the sound of that, and I sure do miss all the fun times. We can make our own memories — like playing fetch, nice walks, spending time hearing about each other’s day. I have a great sense of humor and enjoy making every day a blast.
• Abner the Life of the Party, 1-year-old male pit bull mix
I am a swell canine with a fun personality. I love to stay busy and keep the party going. I like surprises and special times. I think everything is fun, interesting and meant for play, especially you. Anything you do I will want to do too.
• Toola the Personal Assistant, 6-year-old female calico cat
Need help around the house? Toola to the rescue! I’ll follow you around and make sure everything is done right. There’s nothing like a furry feline inspection, right? I’m all for pets and purrs, too. Come see me soon.
• Gus the Puppy, 2-month-old male Australian shepherd mix
Gus is just a great fluffy, cuddly puppy. He always has a thoughtful look — but that’s because he takes lap lounging very seriously.
