Trolley tour tickets
Tickets will go on sale Monday for the College Hill Holiday Lights Trolley Tour, which will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 14. Tickets are sold for specific times for trolley rides past houses lighted up for Christmas in College Hill. The trolleys set out from East Heights United Methodist Church, 4407 E. Douglas. Tickets will be $6 (free for children under 3) starting Monday at Traditions, 3220 E. Douglas.
Whether or not you buy a trolley ticket, you can take part in other activities at the church. Outside that evening will be a living Nativity at 6, 6:30, 7 and 7:30. Inside will be a display of angels painted by Paula Plott Amos, toys made by the Sunflower Woodworkers Guild for the needy, a coffee bar, and demonstrations by organist David Cason.

Indoor farmers markets
The Kansas Grown Farmers Market will have two indoor markets before Christmas – Dec. 13 and Dec. 20, in the Extension Center at 21st and Ridge Road. Hours will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Vendors will be selling items including meats (bison, beef, chicken and pork), fresh produce, jams, jellies, salsa, honey, baked goods including gluten-free items, handmade gifts and garments, wood crafts and herb plants – all raised, produced or made in Kansas. Marion holiday homes tour
Four houses decorated for Christmas will be on the Marion Christmas Homes Tours from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $5, available during tour hours at the Marion City Library, 101 Library St. Refreshments and a tree decorated with “Wizard of Oz” ornaments – the wrap-up of the movie’s 75th anniversary – also can be found at the library during the tour.
