Tours to be part of Art at the Arb next weekend at Bartlett Arboretum

Garden tours and a tree trail tour will be among the additions to the annual Art at the Arb Open House at Bartlett Arboretum in Belle Plaine next weekend.
More than 100 visual and performing artists will be at the event along with more than 30,000 tulips in bloom amid the trees in the century-old arboretum.
Art at the Arb will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 13 and 14 and will coincide with Belle Plaine’s Tulip Time Festival that includes its own events, including a parade, a car show and a street dance. (Website: www.belleplainechamber.com.)
Admission to Art at the Arb will be $5 at the gate. Food will be for sale from Lyon’s Den BBQ, Freddy’s Frozen Custard, Luciano’s and Java Villa.
Garden tours will be conducted at noon and 3 p.m. both days, and tree trail tours at 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. April 14.
Artists of all types will have their work on display and for sale. And these musicians will be performing:
11 a.m.: Cafe Set (Irish/World)
Noon: Wichita Community Concert Band
1 p.m.: Elliott Road (folk)
2 p.m.: The Micah White Experience (jazz)
3 p.m.: Colin Boyd (Dallas songwriter extraordinaire)
4 p.m.: The Mudbugs (Cajun and zydeco)
Noon: Dear Friends & Gentle Hearts
1 p.m.: Delores & the Pickin’ Fretter
2 p.m.: Colin Boyd
3 p.m.: Air Capital Chorus
3:45 p.m.: The Wonder Revolution
4:45 p.m.: Robin Macy and Kentucky White.
