Zoe Lewis to jive at arboretum in Hesston
World-beat groover Zoe Lewis will be performing her offbeat and unusual music on instruments from the piano to the spoons at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at Dyck Arboretum of the Plains in Hesston. Lewis, originally from England and now of Cape Cod, plays jazz, jump jive, Latin grooves, swing and international folk. She has performed with Judy Collins and Nancy Griffith, and her song "Small Is Tremendous" can be heard on ads for Mini Pringles and TJ Maxx.
Tickets are $17 for adults and $10 for children, available by reservation only by calling 620-327-8127. Proceeds from a soup supper served between sets will help the arboretum pay for vandalism damage from this past summer.
