If getting to the gym and keeping up with your meal-planning has been a little bit of a struggle lately, you might not be alone.
To complete the study, WalletHub compared 174 cities — the 150 most-populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most-populated cities in each state.
Of those 174 cities, Wichita was ranked as the 149th healthiest — or the 25th unhealthiest — city in America.
WalletHub compared four dimensions when ranking the cities: health care, food, fitness and green space. Within those dimensions were factors including family doctors per capita, fruit and vegetable consumption, share of obese residents, fitness clubs per capita and walking trails per capita.
One other Kansas city made WalletHub’s list of the healthiest cities. Overland Park was ranked as the 30th healthiest city in America.
The three healthiest cities in the U.S. are San Francisco, Seattle and Portland, according to the study. The three unhealthiest cities are Augusta, Georgia; and Laredo and Brownsville in Texas.
