Wichita Habitat for Humanity needs volunteers to build homes for three families. Work days are Tuesdays through Fridays. Call Monique, 316-269-0755 or 316-619-2405, or go to www.wichitahabitat.org.
The United Way of the Plains Volunteer Center has the following opportunities. Call 316-267-0202.
• Move food donations from postal vehicles to bins and semi-trailers for a food drive between 3 and 5:30 p.m. May 10. Minimum age is 14 with a parent.
• Take visually impaired individuals to speaking engagements and on errands for Envision. Times vary. Must be 18 or older and provide own car.
• Work the counter and cash register at the Kansas Aviation Museum Store, restock displays and answer questions. Minimum age is 18. Retirees encouraged to apply.
• Answer phones, type, make copies and do other office work at the Wichita Indochinese Center. Minimum age is 18.
