If you want to travel the country in comfort, aren’t intimidated by a bus-sized vehicle, and have a couple hundred thousand to spend, then a 2011 Coachmen Cross Country recreational vehicle might be for you.
The Coachmen has air-ride suspension, a 340 horsepower Cummins diesel engine and is 40-feet long, said Bob Giesick, sales and finance manager at Wichita RV West. The Coachmen Cross Country is the most expensive new model on the dealer’s lot.
The motor home comes with a full kitchen, including appliances and Corian countertops, a living area with leather sofa and loveseat, electric fireplace and a 42-inch flat panel TV. It also has a shower, toilet and vanity.
The master bedroom features a queen-size bed, closet, built-in cabinets and flat-panel TV.
A sofa and loveseat also convert into beds.
To compensate for its size, the motor home is equipped with side- and rear-view cameras, and a push-button transmission.
