Boeing could face competition after all for Air Force tanker

The Defense Department said Friday it is considering extending the deadline for bids on a $35 billion contract to replace its mid-air refueling tankers. European leaders objected to the way the U.S. had handled the bids. A Russian government company reportedly is considering entering the competition.
