Special

"How the Beatles Rocked the Kremlin"

Despite singing a song called "Back in the U.S.S.R.," the Beatles never actually performed in the Soviet Union. That didn't stop their music from making an impact behind the Iron Curtain. In this special, filmmaker Leslie Woodhead talks to Russians who grew up listening to the Beatles and found hope and inspiration in their music and their message of rebellion — which may have played a role in the downfall of communism. 9 p.m., PBS and KPTS, Channel 8.

Series

"House"

A teenage girl (Anna Attanasio) is brought to the hospital with severely swollen appendages after a wild night out, although she is less than candid about what really happened. As her condition worsens, the patient is unable to distinguish fact from fiction. 7 p.m., Fox and KSAS, Channel 4/24.

"CSI: Miami"

Laurence Fishburne puts in some overtime this week in a three-episode story arc that crosses over all three "CSI" series. In the first, Fishburne's character, Dr. Ray Langston from the Las Vegas CSI unit, comes to Miami when a severed leg found in the Everglades is linked to a girl who went missing in Las Vegas a week earlier. David Caruso also stars in the new episode "Bone Voyage." 9 p.m., CBS and KWCH, Channel 12.
