Moink balls on a stick

What is it? From the “on a stick” category at the Kansas State Fair come “moink balls,” which derive their name from the language spoken by what they’re made of – beef (“moo”) and pork (“oink”). They’re five beef meatballs that are wrapped in bacon, coated in barbecue sauce and threaded on a stick.

Where is it? At the Smoke Stack BBQ locations at 311 Grandstand Avenue and 300 Fort Larned Boulevard.

How much? $7

Worth it? Yes. This meal on a stick isn’t as weird as it tries to sound. In fact, it’s pretty basic and is filling, easy to eat and affordable.
