Ongoing events

Ackerman’s Backyard: Designed for adults. Enjoy adult beverages, bands, vendors and more. Happy hour entertainment from 4 to 8 p.m. every evening on the Star Floating Stage. 4-9:30 p.m. Wed.-Thu.; 4-10 p.m. Fri.; 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sat. and Sun. Location: A. Price Woodard Park

Cox Kids Corner: Enjoy games, art projects, clowns, magicians and more. No button required for ages 5 and under. 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Wed.-Thu.; 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Fri.; 10 a.m.-10 p.m., Sat.-Sun.

The Eagle Medallion Hunt: The hunt is underway and continues until Thursday. Daily clues will be published in The Eagle and at about 10 a.m. each day at www.kansas.com/medallionhunt. They’ll be published at the same time on The Eagle’s social media pages: Facebook ( www.facebook.com/wichitaeagle) and Twitter ( @kansasdotcom). Prize is an “Ultimate Game Room” from Chilton Billiards and Spas.

Paddle Boats & Kayaks: Participation may be subject to conditions, restrictions or prohibitions. Availability is dependent on weather and river conditions. 3:30-8:30 p.m. daily unless races are in progress. Location: Board by Douglas Avenue Bridge on Arkansas River

Riverfest Zipline: $10 with a Riverfest button. Participation may be subject to conditions, restrictions and prohibitions. Noon-8 p.m. Fri. and Sat.; and Sun.; 5:30-8 p.m. Wed.-Thu. Location: WaterWalk Pavilion; entrance on east side of river

Wagonmasters River Tour: Cruises depart from the gazebo next to the Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview. $5, $4 for ages 3-16, ages 2 and younger are free. A Riverfest button is required for all riders ages 6 and up. 4-8 p.m. Wed.-Fri.; 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday: Location: Arkansas River at Douglas Street Bridge

“The Ugly Duckling”: Performance by Wichita Children’s Theatre. 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Location: Mary Jane Teall Theater at Century II

Library History Day: 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Central Library West Lawn

Keeper of the Plains Walk: 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. and 12:15-12:45 p.m. Location: Fit ’n’ Fun Zone at WaterWalk Pavilion

Family Fun Under the Tent: 2:30-4:30 p.m. Central Library West Lawn
