Abelardo’s might not have the best restaurant name ever. (No one likes to think about lard, no matter how good it tastes.)
But it does have some pretty outstanding (and super-cheap) Mexican food. I had a fab feast there Monday, seen here, and today I went back for more, sampling a fabulous beef torta and a burrito stuffed with the reddish-hued meat pictured at right in the photo.
