A very busy vegan chef
Chef Miguel Larcher, who just opened his Garden Grill Cafe in the Occidental Building at 300 N. Main, has a lot on his vegan plate these days. In addition to opening his restaurant, he’s just released a new vegan cookbook, “Three Olives and a Dash of the Sea,” he’s launched a Sunday brunch and he’s begun meal delivery service from his restaurant.
The book, a collection of Larcher’s popular recipes, was released late last month and is for sale at the restaurant and at Amazon.com. His Sunday brunch, which is served buffet-style, is offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays and is $13.99. And his meal delivery service is available anywhere in Wichita to customers who pre-order from a set menu at gardengrillcafe.com by Fridays to get their food Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Customers must order a minimum of two entrees, and there’s an additional charge on food that’s delivered. Larcher also is offering cooking classes and is extending hours to serve evening diners on Wednesdays and Thursdays. For information on all of Larcher’s endeavors, visit the restaurant’s website or its Facebook page.
