Pig In Pig Out on Discovery
A camera crew that recently visited Pig In Pig Out at 1003 E. 13th St. piqued the curiosity of several locals. Sources say that the crew was from a new show on the Discovery Channel called "Road Eats," and that Pig In Pig Out will be featured this summer. Though there's not a lot of information about the new show, it is said to follow a truck driver around the country as he stops at his favorite restaurants. The Internet is full of reports of the show stopping recently in places such as St. Louis and Tucson. Managers at Pig In Pig Out said they'd agreed not to discuss the show.
Where to take the kids
Parents magazine is out with the results of its 10 Best Restaurant Chains survey, and Wichita has all but three of them. The survey was intended to gather a list of restaurants where families can get the most nutritious foods for the best price while having the least stressful experience. Among the restaurants on the list: Jason's Deli, Red Lobster, Chipotle, Noodles & Company, Red Robin, Panera Bread and P.F. Chang's China Bistro.
