1. Maharaja's liquor license: The Indian restaurant at 3008 W. Central now has its liquor license and is serving beer along with its curry.
2. Dairy Queen's mini-blizzard: Just this month, Dairy Queen started serving mini-blizzards, which weigh in at about 7 ounces, making them half the size (and calories) of a small.
3. Starbucks' breakfast sandwiches:, Starting at the end of the month (Aug. 31 is the target date) most local Starbucks stores will begin serving warm breakfast sandwiches. The only two stores in town that won't get the ovens are at 21st and Amidon and Pawnee and Seneca.
Never miss a local story.
