Benefit to raise money for Clif Major’s family

Friends and fellow musicians of the late Clif Major are putting on a benefit in his name on Sunday night. The C Major Benefit and Jam hosted by Mike Peltzer is from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Loft, 150 N. Mosley. It will feature a lineup of bands and acts that had ties to Major, who died in June. On the bill: Bill Garrison, the Sharon Rush Band, Suns over Blazmo, The FunTones, Made from Scratch and Moonlight Drive. Major’s CDs will be for sale, and prizes will be raffled off. Admission is $10 at the door, and all money raised will go to Major’s family.
