Terry Quiett’s CD release party
Rock blues group the Terry Quiett Band will celebrate its third blues studio album with a CD release party on Saturday at the Cotillion, 11131 W. Kellogg. Kentucky Gentlemen and Linaberry Wine will open the show. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Turnpike Troubadours at the Cotillion
Also this weekend at the Cotillion is a concert by Turnpike Troubadours, a Red Dirt group from Oklahoma. Kentucky-bred singer/songwriter Chris Knight will open the show, which is open to all ages. PAT Bash turns 10
The 10th anniversary of the popular PAT Bash, an event that celebrates the legacy of late bluesman Pat McJimsey and raises money for the Performers Assistance Trust, happens this weekend. It’s on Sunday at Abode Venue, 1330 E. Douglas. Doors open at 4 p.m., and the music starts at 5 p.m., featuring Macy Bros, Jenny Wood Band, Yale Street Players and Skyline Band.
