Stiefel adds Rob Thomas concert to 2014 lineup

The Stiefel Theatre in Salina added a concert by singer Rob Thomas to its concert list this week.

Thomas, the Grammy-winning solo artist and lead singer of band Matchbox Twenty, will perform at 8 p.m. April 17. Tickets, which will be $78, $88 and $98, go on sale at 9 a.m. Jan. 24.

Thomas is best known for solo hits such as “Lonely No More” and “This Is How a Heart Breaks” and for songs he performed with Matchbox Twenty, including “Bent” and “If You’re Gone.” He’s also known for his song “Smooth,” a collaboration with Santana.

Tickets will be available by calling the Stiefel at 785-827-1998 or at stiefeltheatre.org or ticketmaster.com.
