Dave Damm (aka Dave Diamond) is a Neil Diamond impersonator who will bring "The Neil Diamond Experience" to The Boulevard, 900 George Washington Blvd., at 8 p.m. today. Diamond, a University of Kansas graduate, says his Neil Diamond obsession began in childhood when his mother used to drive around with a Neil Diamond cassette playing in the car. Country music artist Stoney LaRue will perform at 8 p.m. today at the Cotillion, 11120 W. Kellogg. LaRue is a native of Taft, Texas, and was raised in Oklahoma. His influences include artists such as Willie Nelson, Ray Charles, the Grateful Dead and Kris Kristofferson. South 40 and the Callahan Band will open the show. "The Night Hip-Hop stole Christmas" is a hip-hop Christmas party starting tonight at Rock Island Live, 101 N. Rock Island. The show will feature performances by Manish Law, A Squared, cash hollistah, Chris Barnett and more. Attendees are asked to wear red and green attire. The party starts at 10 p.m., and doors open at 9. Admission is $3 with a canned good or boxed dinner to be donated to Inter-Faith Ministries or $5 regular admission.
