3 Ring Circus, Lotus in Old Town

Radio station KEYN will wrap up its outdoor concert series tonight with a finale show featuring two Wichita favorites: Margarita's mainstay Lotus followed by party band 3 Ring Circus.
The free concert will start at 8 p.m. at First and Mosley in Old Town. Lotus, the crowd-drawing house band at Margarita's Cantina, will perform first, followed by 3 Ring Circus, a 13-piece party band known for its energetic covers.
The group, which has been known to draw several thousand people to its outdoor KEYN shows, is also known for its closet of costumes and wigs, its full horn section and its music selection, which includes everything from Chicago to Carrie Underwood to Michael Buble.
The Stagehands, a bluegrass band that features 11-year-old fiddle player Isaac Yoder, 14-year-old fiddle and mandolin player Adam Yoder and 19-year-old guitar player Chris Yoder, will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at The Artichoke, 811 N. Broadway. Admission is $5.
Jeffery Broussard, a legendary Cajun and zydeco player, will perform along with his band the Creole Cowboys at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at The Boulevard, 900 George Washington Blvd. Admission to the show is $15 at the door.
