The popular fine dining restaurant continues its Sunday night family-style dinners, featuring cuisine from around the world. The meals cost $15 for adults, $8 for children ages 6 to 12, and are free for ages 5 and under. Call 316- 634-1000 for reservations and more details. Among the menus through the end of August:
1. New Orleans: This Sunday's menu will include an array of foods inspired by the Big Easy, including a crawfish and shrimp salad; blackened catfish and barbecue shrimp; and classic bread pudding.
2. El Salvador: The July 26 menu will feature a Salvadoran salad made with papaya, shrimp and a mango-coconut vinaigrette; classic pupusas filled with shredded pork carnitas; and a tropical Salvadoran layer cake.
3. Ethiopia: The Aug. 2 offering will include an Ethiopian salad topped with beets, cucumbers, onions and potatoes; pan-fried lamb; and a savory and sweet cheesecake made with goat cheese and mascarpone.
4. Great Britain night: Aug. 16's Great Britain night includes a chilled leek soup; choice of roast beef with Yorkshire pudding or fish and chips; and a caramel-drizzled apple cinnamon crumb cake for dessert.

Return of Dyne Quik
It closed a year ago, but now a new owner is planning to reopen the Dyne Quik Valentine diner at 1202 N. Broadway, complete with new, handicapped-accessible restrooms and reupholstered seats. It should reopen in early 2010.
P.F. Chang's kids menu
P.F. Chang's at 1401 Waterfront Parkway has become more kid-friendly with the introduction of a kids menu. Choices include chicken, lo mein, chicken fried rice and a baby Buddha's feast that includes snap peas, carrots and broccoli served steamed or stir-fried. The new menu also includes several games and puzzles to keep tiny diners entertained.
