A peek at the Pacific Coast Pizza menu

Pacific Coast Pizza, a restaurant that recently opened at 7718 E. 37th St. North (316-201-4743), is open from 11 a.m. to midnight daily. Among the many interesting pizzas on the menu (which also includes pastas, salads and wraps):

Sydney: Topped with pesto, mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted chicken, artichoke hearts, provolone and goat cheese.

San Andreas: Featuring a rosemary wheat crust, Pacific Coast red sauce, low-fat mozzarella, roasted chicken, red onion, mushroom, roasted red pepper and pineapple.

Buffalo chicken: Topped with blue cheese dressing, mozzarella, roasted buffalo chicken, red onion, celery and Monterey Jack cheese.

* Pizzas run about $9.99 for an 8-inch; $16.99 for a 12-inch; and $18.99 for a 14-inch.

A GOOD DEAL

Throughout October at Piccadilly Grill , 7728 E. Central, pairs of diners can get two pork entrees and one shared dessert or appetizer for $20. Entree choices include stuffed pork loin roast, smoked spare ribs, beer battered chicken and waffles, and pulled pork sandwiches. Beck's Oktoberfest beer also is on sale 2 for $4.50. German food and brew

The Rotary Club of Andover is putting on an Oktoberfest-style fundraiser on Oct. 15 called Haus of Brews . The event, which will be put on in the former Cibola spot on Bradley Fair, is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will feature German food and beer. Indian tacos are back

The Mid-America All-Indian Center at 650 N. Seneca has reinstated its popular Indian taco sales from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Tuesday and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday (except the third Wednesday of the month). The group selling the tacos — made of traditional Indian fry bread with all the standard taco toppings — is calling itself Keeper Kafe. The popular tacos are $6 apiece, and drinks and a popular native berry dessert resembling cobbler also are available.
