Antonio Sabato Jr., Tavis Smiley, Lolo Jones will compete on ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Imagine actor/model Antonio Sabato Jr., talk-show host Tavis Smiley and Olympian Lolo Jones on “Dancing With the Stars.” Add in “Duck Dynasty’s” Sadie Robertson, NASCAR’s Michael Waltrip and, for the first time, an Internet star: YouTube beauty guru Bethany Mota. It’s going to happen, as a new season of the show starts Sept. 15.

Those six are among the top celebrities-turned-dancers to watch as the show starts its 19th run for the mirrorball trophy.

The youngest dancer in the eclectic field is Robertson, the 17-year-old granddaughter of patriarch Phil Robertson. Comedian Tommy Chong is the oldest at 76, though fashion-designer Betsey Johnson is not far behind at 73.

Alfonso Ribeiro from the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” now 42, will compete, as will Lea Thompson of “Back to the Future,” who is 53 in the present.

Rounding out the field of 13 are Ultimate Fighting Champion Randy Couture, “Pretty Little Liars” actress Janel Parrish and “Mean Girls” actor Jonathan Bennett.

The cast was announced Thursday on “Good Morning America.” The 19th season of the show starts Sept. 15, and the show airs at 7 p.m. on KAKE, Ch. 10.

Julianne Hough, who as a pro won “Dancing With the Stars” twice, will be a judge this year, along with Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli.

The pro partners to the stars will include Derek Hough, who has won five times and will be paired up with Mota, and two-time winner Cheryl Burke, who will dance with Sabato Jr.
