Weekend events: Wichita Stamp & Coin Show, free WaterWalk concert

Stamp and coin show this weekend

The Wichita Stamp & Coin Show, an event set up by the Wichita Stamp Club, happens from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Cessna Activity Center, 2744 George Washington Blvd. The event features stamp and coin dealers, information for young collectors, stamp exhibits, on-site appraisals and more. Final summer concert at WaterWalk

The final show in KEYN’s free summer concert series at the WaterWalk Commons, 515 S. Main, happens Friday and features local British Invasion cover band Across the Pond plus Rockin’ Horse and Carson Mac. The concert is free, and food and drink will be available for purchase. Parking is free in the WaterWalk parking garage. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; food sales and pre-concert entertainment start at 7. Tuesdays on the Terrace features Kawehi

The next installment of Tuesdays on the Terrace at Botanica, 701 Amidon, is called “Gladioli & Gin Rickeys” and will feature music by Lawrence-based singer and multi-instrumentalist Kawehi. The event, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., will feature a cash bar and food by Blue Moon Caterers for sale. Attendees also can bring picnics. Admission is $7, $3 for members.
