Annie Up headlines concert series show
Local rock band Annie Up will headline the next installment of the KEYN Concert Series, which continues Fridays through Aug. 11 at the WaterWalk, 515 S. Main. The concert starts at 8 p.m., and gates open at 7 p.m. with food sales and pre-concert entertainment. Parking is free in the WaterWalk parking garage. Chalk Art Festival in Old Town
The seventh annual Chalk Art Festival is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Old Town Square, Second and Mead. The event combines art and live music from local artists. Participants can watch artists create chalk art and will have the opportunity to create their own. The festival is held annually to help raise awareness and support for EmberHope, an agency that helps at-risk youth and families. Admission is free. For more information, visit www.emberhope.org.

Guild Hall Players offer ‘A Little Night Music’
Guild Hall Players, a community theater troupe based out of St. James Episcopal Church, will put on the musical “A Little Night Music” this weekend at the church, 3750 E. Douglas. Show times are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday. “A Little Night Music” has won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. It follows middle-aged lawyer Fredrik Egerman on his search for love and features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Tickets are $12 for general admission, $7 for students.
