Upcoming events: artisan market, ‘Aladdin’ for kids, ‘House in the Sky’ author’s visit

A second-Saturday artisan market will happen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Workroom, a custom drapery shop at 150 N. Cleveland. The event will feature items made by local artists and artisans as well as food items for purchase. Among the items for sale will be handmade candles, chain mail jewelry and more. Artists who want to reserve booth space should call 316-295-4520.
