Christmas with the Dennises
The six sisters and three brothers of the Dennis Family will have their 30th annual Christmas concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at Tabernacle Bible Church, 1817 N. Volutsia. Music by candlelight
Four Wichita State University choirs will present a candlelight concert at 4 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 p.m. Monday at Wiedemann Concert Hall on campus. Professor Lynne Davis will play the organ, and the A Cappella Choir, Women’s Choir, Concert Chorale and Madrigal Singers will sing. Tickets $7 adults, $3 students, free for WSU students with ID. Black Friday antidote
For the people “who don’t want to go near stores or the mall on Black Friday,” the Wichita Art Museum is offering free admission Friday and Saturday, the museum’s Teresa Veazey says. Self-guided art-making activities will be available for families and especially for children. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
Christmas benefit concert
Vocalist Earnest Alexander and the cast of Crown Uptown’s “White Christmas” will present this year’s Youth Horizons Benefit Christmas Concert at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Crown Uptown Dinner Theatre, 3207 E.
